Faucet Installation Done Right
A new faucet is one of the fastest ways to refresh a kitchen or bathroom without a full renovation. But installation quality matters. A faucet that is not properly seated on the deck, supply lines that are overtightened or cross-threaded, or a shutoff valve that sticks and drips -- these are the things that turn a simple upgrade into a recurring headache.
The detail that separates good faucet installation from a future service call is replacing the supply lines. Old braided lines are one of the leading causes of under-sink water damage in Carmichael homes. They look fine, then one day they fail. I replace the supply lines as standard practice on every faucet installation -- not as an upsell, just as the right way to do the job.
I install kitchen faucets, bathroom faucets, pot fillers, utility sink faucets, and outdoor hose bibbs. If you supply the fixture, I install it. I can also recommend brands with strong parts availability if you want a recommendation before purchasing.
Faucet Services
Kitchen Faucet Installation
Single-hole, three-hole, and bridge faucets installed. I handle supply line connections, shutoff valve inspection, and spray head setup.
Bathroom Faucet Installation
Single-handle, two-handle, and widespread bathroom faucets replaced. Old faucet removed, drain assembly checked, new faucet installed with proper supply connections.
Supply Line Replacement
Old braided or plastic supply lines replaced with quality stainless-braided lines. Supply lines are a common source of leaks.
Shutoff Valve Inspection
Shutoff valves that have not been turned in years often fail when you need them. I test shutoffs and replace valves that feel stiff or show corrosion.
Faucet Repair
Dripping faucets, leaking handles, and stripped cartridges repaired or replaced. Sometimes a cartridge swap fixes a drip for years.
Utility Sink Faucets
Laundry and utility sink faucets replaced. These see heavy use and often have older, worn connections.
Faucet Brand Notes
If you want a recommendation before purchasing, here is my honest take on common brands I install regularly.
Lifetime warranty, widely available, cartridges easy to find. Good value across all price points.
Ceramic disc cartridges are highly durable. Strong warranty. Touch and voice-activated models available.
Premium design and build quality. Higher price point, but parts are well-supported.
Good budget-to-mid option with a solid lifetime warranty. Less widely stocked for parts.
What Every Installation Includes
